STUDENT/FLEXI: Bartender - Bar Back

At Pepe Nero, our Italian comfort food restaurant, we’re looking for 1 ragazza/ragazzo in Leuven to support us in the role of:

Bartender - Bar Back (flex, student)

Are you the authentic, ambitious and enterprising bartender/woman we are looking for? Do you have a boundless passion for bartending?

You'll be rolling up your sleeves in no time to provide a great bar service. It would be nice if you already have experience built-up experience in similar hospitality roles, but also we can learn you how to be a good Bartender and/or Bar Back.

It's in your blood: assisting in a bar, running and bartending at full capacity brings out the best in you.

You speak fluent English and Dutch. A little French or Italian helps.

We also appreciate creativity, an inquisitive mind and an unstoppable drive to do better for this hands-on position. A healthy dose of humor always works.

Long story short: people love working with you.

Who are you?
In this position you will report to the Bar Manager

Setting up the bar
Preparing the cocktails and other drinks for the guests
Explaining the concept and the drinks menu
Ensuring optimal communication with the floor
Replenishing refrigerators
Keeping the bar neat and tidy
You have a valid EU passport and/or work permit
You mainly work evening shifts and occasionally you help with the lunch service
